Notes from the Field
I spend my days talking to engineering leaders at some of the world's largest organizations. The conversations are fast, the problems are real, and the patterns repeat in ways that most people never get to see.
This blog is where I process those patterns. What's working, what's failing, and what the gap between the two actually looks like up close.
The timing matters. AI is reshaping how software gets built, reviewed, shipped, and secured, and the noise-to-signal ratio in the industry has never been worse. Everyone has a take. Not enough people are sharing what's actually happening inside the organizations doing the work, everything is focused on hype. That's the gap I want to fill.
What to expect
I write about technical leadership, AI software development at scale, and the messy reality of platform engineering. Some posts will be opinionated. Some will be data-driven. All of them will be grounded in what I'm actually seeing. The realities you don't see in the trending posts on Hacker News. Yes, maybe its a bit niche, but I have found many technology leaders are looking for some grounded, tested, and practical advice so I figured I'd share what I'm seeing.
If you lead engineering teams, build platforms, or make technology decisions for your organization, this may be worth a read.
